We not only design and manufacture PTFE (Teflon) Belts but we also offer a PTFE (Teflon) belt repair service. If you have a conveyor belt that has suffered premature damage then we may be able to offer a repair service for you. This means you won’t have to potentially pay the full value of a brand new belt again, especially if the damage occurred early in its life.

What sort of damage can you repair?

We can repair damage on PTFE (Teflon) belts ranging from slight tears or rips in the edge to full panel inserts. If you have a hole in your belt, we can also patch this for you.

We can also repair the joint area too by re installing mechanical fasteners as well and replacing the enquire ends of a belt. This often means a slight reduction in overall length therefore the roller take up would need to be evaluated beforehand.

What type of PTFE belts can you repair?

We can repair all types of PTFE belts. We generally find that PTFE mesh dryer belts are more common. If you have a Natgraph Dryer PTFE mesh belt for example then this is something we can repair for you.

How long do you take to repair a belt?

We understand that your PTFE (Teflon) conveyor belt can be a very important part of your production process. Bearing this in mind, we try to work with our customers and have the belt back with them when they require it. Techbelt has recently invested in production staff allowing us to keep our reaction times at the forefront.

How much does a PTFE (Teflon) belt repair cost?

This depends on the amount of work that needs to be carried our. Generally we work on an hourly rate and then add any costs of materials used. The cost of the belt repair is far more economical than having to replace with a brand new one.
